Arctic Monkeys - Humbug

Much darker and muddier than the previous albums and there is less catchy pop riffs going on but AT's lyrics are still amazing.

This album is gonna have to grow on me but there are def 3 or 4 stand out tracks

I quite like it. Had to give it a few listens though

I listened to it twice if I'm being honest....

I can see what he/their trying to do he dosn't want the band to get stagnant there changinging and getting some hair round there knackers.

Not sure what i was expecting......Maybe its becuase its got an american sound (Ginger Josh)to it and there not. I'm sure our yank cousins will love it.

It just didn't grab me like the other two albums and the shadow puppets album.

At the min I feel its more standing on the shoulder of giants than morning glory (I'm not comparing, just using them as an example!!)

No it is different and wont appeal to all. It doesnt have any catchy pop riffs tbh but all the same they couldnt just do an extension of the first two albums some of the tracks here are going blow the roof off live!

I was expecting something a little different (more cos of the fact cos Josh Homme was on the production team) and it meets expectations although i can see why others are going to take more convincing.

Corner stone and My propellor have gotta be the next singles of this album!

This really is a quality album - just a shame my dog ate my copy
