The Strokes

Any fans on here?

I personally have always been a big fan. Saw them @ The Leeds festival in 2004. Really talented, rocking musicians.

Looking forward to their new album, rumoured to be released in March this year.

yhh I love them. People say they only released one album worth listening to with "Is This It" but I think they are are all really good albums but they don't live up to the debut

looking forward to the album Smile March is shaping up to be a good month for music

Co-Inky-Dence time, I was at Leeds 2004 too!

I wasn't a big fan of the Strokes, thought their debut was ridiculously over rated. Also get a bit annoyed by the fact that at that festival, virtually the entire crowd cleared out for Jane's Addiction (one of the best live bands around at the time), and then flooded back for The Strokes. Seriously guys? Pulp were amazing that day too.

I actually made a big mistake and went and watched the Aphex Twin instead of the Strokes - worst set I have ever seen, could have just been a guy with a CD player - really didn't feel like a 'live' set.
