Fave set openers and closers

Post by paranoidandroid on Wed Jul 15, 2009 7:05 am

Fuckin in the bushes or Swamp Song?

My generation, cum on feel the noize or I am the Walrus??

Personally id rather they actually 'played' the opening track and I love Swamp Song! minus the harmonica though would be nice.....

Closer i'd have to say Cum on feel the noize too! Such a belter and the ending could go on for aaaaaaaages!

Heres hoping next time around ;-)

I love Fuckin In The Bushes as an opener..

TBH.. I wouldn't choose any of those three as a closer although if I had to choose would be Cum On Feel The Noize.. As I've seen Oasis play the other 2 to close the set.

You know, i saw an Oasis tribute band - OaCis - open with The Swamp Song and it sounded amazing, so i'd love to be at a gig where the real thing did. Smile

I Am The Walrus never gets old as a closer for me, but i'd love to be there for Rock 'n' Roll Star as a closer, i'm just curious as to what that'd be like as a closer rather than an opener.

Ideally?

Be Here Now as an opener

My Generation to close

Swamp song was great when they did that though, still get shivers when I hear that harmonica loud!
