Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
watched the Liverpool game last night. It proved the cliche that football is a game of two halves. Absolutely gash in the first half, were very impressive in the second half. And both Gerrard and Joe Cole looked good which is great for England.
Also caught the second half of Manyoo v West Brom. Manyoo were piss poor, but still won, which means the fuckers will def win the title.
I bet Eggy is gutted by the Wolves result. Fucking impossible to predict the relegated teams this season. I think it will come down to who does the best business in the January transfer window to be honest. Wolves need to take a financial gamble, and get a top class striker in on loan. Adebayor possibly?

Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
Yeah I was gutted, kinda resigned to the fact we're going to. Get relegated tbh - we are this season's Wigan with our inconsistency, and they only stayed up last year because of the lack of quality in the relegated teams
I dont think Adebayor would come near us, I don't see why we need a striker - we do because we're not scoring but for me Doyle, Fletcher and Ebanks-Blake are as good as any teams strikers in the bottom half - and it's not like we're lacking creativity with Jarvis (England call up more than deserved) and Milijas - we're constantly being link with Robbie Keane and that's only because he started his career here but he will to to a better team eg. Newcastle, Villa etc.

watched Chelsea v Villa last night, WTF has gone wrong there? I know they lost Wilkins for no real reason, but even so .... it's a very talented team, they should be getting much better results.
The last 20mins of the match was cracking. Like Albrighton as a player a lot.

Wolves -1 Chelsea-0
Ancelotti's gone now, think he'll be sacked tomorrow but I hope they keep him. I watched the game and we didn;t play brilliantly - Zubar, Stearman (again), Berra and Hennessey all had good game which explains the clean sheet. Hunt also had a good game, the best for us so far. Fletcher was poor though, hope he can turn it around

Wolves are mad - losing to West Ham but beating the 'pool and Chelsea!
Both Ancelotti and Woy must be gone now (and Houlier should be too)
Pants for fantasy this week - dropped Nani and he scored, and took a punt on Drogba returning to form and he didn't!

Keep checking F365 - and shocked to see Woy hasn't been sacked yet .... I like the guy, but clearly he is out of his depth at Liverpool....
Also Houlier has to go ....

Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
Rumour has it Roy will be sacked either after they lose against United or they'll wait to the end of the season because they don't want an interim manager
Villa messed up hiring Houllier as manager, he would have been perfect youth coach in place of Kevin McDonald who was doing a decent job or as a joint managership as Houllier can be a genius when it comes to youth which Villa have in abundance

Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
Roy Keane has gone, so who next?
Houlier
Hodgeson
Ancelotti
Grant
If clubs want to bring in new players they need to get new coaches in now ...
Can't remember a time in the EPL when quite so many managers had their jobs on the line ...
and don't you have a sneaky suspicion the next sacking will totally be out of the blue, like Mancini?
Who to replace them?
Liverpool - Dalglish as an interim appointment (new appointment in the Summer)
Chelsea - Rijkard
West Ham - Allardyce (bad news Barnafin)
Villa - reckon they'll stick with Houlier but perhaps bring in someone like Hughton or Curbishley as first team coach to prepare the team for matches and help Houlier pick the team.

Re: English Premier League 2010/2011
Chris Hughton deserves a job, i reckon he could do a great job at somewhere like ipswich and make them a Premier league team.
A lot of championship managers have gone recently, and i think a few premiership ones will be soon. Houllier definitely deserves to go, Aston Villa are a big club who should be challenging for Europe, the releagtion zone is not on for a club that size.
Hope Sam Allardyce gets teh Qatar job, then we'll never hear of him again
