Oasis Vs Blur.

I understand its over. I like blur I always have, I think Damon Albarn is really talented guy and he does kind of get over looked by everyone. He tries diffrent sounds and works with different people and does his own thing. Thats the positives.

He did totally shit on Graham Coxon, who is a great musican and I'm pretty sure he refused to play country house and he moaned like fuck that parklife nearly split the band up....which is complete shit. He does go on a bit like an old woman and the albums always have the odd shitter on them!

I think Noel respected blur all the way through the so called 'war' because they are a great band, I think he just slagged thm 1. because he found it funny and 2.he saw them as a threat....Liam just slagged them off because he wanted to be Sid Viscious. To be fair to Damon & co they never really got into it with them on the verbal jousting front......girls!!

I think Oais won the war because Blur really were out of the depth both fan appeal and in the 'mouth' stakes. I'd love to know how it all started because it wasn't with country house....Something went on before and its not common knowledge as to what it was, on the documentry Live Forever Damon refuses to go into it details saying 'It concerned other people'

I loved both bands at the time, even though I was about 7 I remember having a crush on Damon (still do ).. Don't really remember much about the war between the 2 bands although I admit I prefered Country House to Roll With It at the time.

I dunno what happened before, obviously there was that famous comment by Noel saying he would like them to all get AIDS or something. Was that before or after the Country House/Roll With It battle?

Dont shoot me but i didnt really get into Oasis until be here now days but i liked them from the start.

At the time of the battle i was prob more leaning to wards mr Albarn and Co.

Nothing wrong with that OG, there are a great band there first three albums have some really good momments on them. They where a bit more appealing to the 'younger' listener. (I'm presuming here!!)

I think it was sumat to do with justine frischmann before the country house thing,liam said sumat about her & she was with damon on at the time.
