GET IN! What a result! and not only that but we put in a fantastic peformance. SEB, Stearman and Milijas were top class.
The last bit of commentary put me in a good mood "the last time Wolves beat Anfield in the top flight Liverpool won the league and Wolves were relegated. On tonights evidence neither of those are going to be repeated"
Finally got a result to go with the performances against the big teams

Fuck! and a clean sheet 2 - only the second this season, but also the second in 3 games... If only we'd beaten Wigan. West Ham game is massive!

tbf this is the best I've felt about a result since we beat West Ham 3-0 away last season which pretty much kept us up. Man City at home was a fantastic result for us but I think, with that peformance, it should really lift confidence in the team and we've finally got that away win. although I'm not going to get too excited considering out next 8 league games are
- West Ham(A)
- Chelsea(H) and they always lamp us
- Man City(A)
- Liverpool (H)
- Bolton(A)
- Man Utd(H)
- Arsenal(A)
and then rescheduled derby away at WBA

I like roy hodgson, feel really sorry for him. He looks more and more miserable every week. Its preventing me from enjoying Liverpool's failure, kinda want him to get sacked so i dont feel bad anymore when they lose as dont really like any of their players

Re: Liverpool 0-1 Wolves
That was only thing about tonight, I wanted to win obviously but really want Liverpool to keep the faith with Roy... yes hes had a bad start but let him bring in a few players in January now he's seen what he needs on the pitch. Managers are never given time anymore and those that do generally succeed - take David Moyes for example, in 2003/4 season Everton finished 17th, one place above the relegation zone and were still in with a chance of being relegated on the last (ok a 30 goal swing would have needed to have happened against them but still...) but they kept the faith and now they are one of the most stable clubs in the league occasionally in Europe and have made some great buys over the years from lower leagues such as Cahill, Jagielka and even Lescott and players who hadn't quite made it at the very top such as Tim Howard. Also add to that a youth academy thats produced Jack Rodwell as well as a few exciting players such as Baxter and Coleman (i think he came through their academy). Liverpool could learn a lot from their Merseyside rivals; a team have gradually built over the years and now even have occasional shot at the Champions League (rarely granted) but I think thats what Liverpool have to do over the next few years, with teams getting stronger such as Spurs and City it's going to be a while before they get back to their big 4 stature, changing their manager every 6 months isn't going to help that. In my opinion theirs only one available manager who has premier league experience could do a better job than Roy Hodgson and that is Martin O'Neill who I think would suit Liverpool down to the ground and vica-versa but if he has a bad start who next?
I didn't mean to write an audition piece for the guardian lol but as soon as i mentioned Moyes I realised Everton is, ironically, the team they should try to emulate

Everton haven't been very good this season though. They could still go down, its really tight atm.

Everton won't go down, great thoughts there Eggy, Agreed with most of what you've got to say. I think most Liverpool fans hope they have more money from their new owners than Everton have from poor old Kenwright.

Re: Liverpool 0-1 Wolves
yeah I loved Bullseye.. but actual darts is my 2nd favourite sport behind football, so the 3 weeks around Christmas with both the PDC and BDO world championships is heaven for me
