and the Village? Who didn't see that twist coming after 20 mins into the film?
Danny Boyle is prob my fave director:
Shallow Grave
Trainspotting
A Less Less Ordinary
The Beach
28 Days Later
Millions
Sunshine
Slumdog Millionaire
127 Hours
not seen the last yet but all those I put in bold are great films, and even the others are interesting
Slumdog Millionaire was really good actually.

Whats The Story? wrote:No particular order, and just from the top of my head...
Batman - The Dark Knight in particular....without doubt THE best film i've ever seen!
Star wars - all of them!
Iron man 1& 2
Gladiator
The Green Mile
Troy
300
Harry Potter - despite the ott hype, the concept of these films are incredible, and are great to watch
wayyy too many!
Superman
Can I be an arse? (and get some debate going:))
Star Wars 1 and II (until the last 30mins) were pants. Though after that the films are awesome.
Iron Man I was good fun, but II was so disappointing.
Troy just didn't work. I think cos they took out the magical element of the gods interfering and using the war to settle their own squabbles, and it's supposed to take 10 years!
Harry Potter - the concept is unoriginal and heavily borrows from other fantasy books. But she packaged it well, and had a good story to tell.

One of the best films ever. The book is superb, too, quite short, worth the read.
